A product demonstration is one of your best sales tools. Demonstrating your product gets a prospect interested and excited in your products use and solution.

Demonstrations really do speak louder than words. If you are selling a product that takes a bit of explaining or complicated hand movements, then a live demo on your stand is the perfect solution! Plus if customers have any questions about the function or how to use the product, then you’re able to demonstrate the solution straight away!


  1. Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse. Your product is your business: make sure your demonstrator is prepared for every question. Knowing the product is crucial, especially if you’re trying to sell it!
  2. Test everything beforehand. You can’t drink water from an empty cup. Before you demonstrate your product, make sure it’s in full working order – everything is where it’s supposed to be, and working how it should. You’re selling what you’re demonstrating – if it doesn’t work, why would someone purchase it?

So get creative and sell your product! You only have a few seconds to grab the attention of visitors passing by your stand, so make it count. But most importantly, have fun with it! If you don’t love what you’re selling, then neither will the customer.
