The Australian Caravan Club was established in 2006 as a national organisation to meet the wide and varied interests of caravanners and camper-trailer owners from across the nation.
The club provides an opportunity for members to share friendship and travel experiences with fellow caravanners while enjoying social activities and educational experiences at the clubs many tag-along gatherings. The club also holds an annual muster to coincide with their annual general meeting.
The club has such a diverse membership base that numerous special interest groups have been formed, including the English Van Owners group, the Lone Treckers group and the Service Men and Women group, just to name a few.
As well as the social side, the club has a policy, advocacy and town support committee who work with all levels of government towards achieving the Club’s main objective – promoting the use of recreational vehicles and the RVing lifestyle throughout Australia.
The Australian Caravan Club will be attending the 2017 Mackay Home Show and Caravan, Camping Expo at the Mackay Showgrounds from the 19th to 21st May 2017.
