The Australian Meat Processor Corporation (AMPC) is a national body representing all processors active in the Red Meat Processing industry in Australia.

AMPC was formed in 1998 and aims to promote, protect and further the rights and mutual interests of its Members, including the promotion of Australian meats, improvement of red meat quality, and financing commercial based research, to name a few.

Red meat processor levies are strategically invested in research, development and extension programs that are aligned to targeted marketing initiatives. These programs deliver outcomes and benefits for both the Australian red meat processing industry and the broader Australian community.

AMPC is taking a long-term view on the steps required to ensure the sustainability of the red meat processing sector and the broader industry. It is developing a 10-year strategic plan that clearly sets out its purpose and role within the industry.

The Australian Meat Processor Corporation will be onsite at the 2017 Queensland Beef Expo and Farming Field Days, located within the Cattle Pavilion. For further details visit www.beefexpo.com.au
