Our loyal exhibitors told us they wanted an outdoor and lifestyle Expo at Moreton Bay and they certainly knew what they were talking about.
We took their advice and locked in the 13-15 March 2015 “Moreton Bay Caravan, Camping and Boating Expo.” The rest is history.
The event sold out within weeks. We had to go back to the Moreton Bay Regional Council and Redcliffe Showgrounds management to see if we could also make use of the main arena. Fortunately the answer was yes.
A further forty prime sites have been delineated on the plan, twenty of which have also been sold.
We are looking at one crackerjack show at Redcliffe, indeed it may just result in one of the largest attendances for an event ever seen in the area.
When 13 March arrives over 140 exhibitors, including many from the local area, will have reserved their spaces for three days of exhibition, demonstrations, entertainment and information.
Television personality and star of “Creek to Coast” Scott Hillier will be on site every day during the event with special presentations including local fishing tips and fascinating tales about his travels and adventures.
National fishing icon Dave “Mossy” Moss will be on stage daily with his “Shimano Fishing Show” during which he will demonstrate casting and landing techniques from a giant, twelve-metre tank filled with barramundi. As well he will be recounting his tales, tall and true, and showcasing the latest lures and soft plastics in the hope of improving the results for visiting anglers.
This Expo is for all the family – mums and dads, children and singles. The addition of free entertainment, demonstrations, children’s rides and learning experiences puts the icing on an otherwise fantastic exhibition experience.
As advertising and promotion go, there is no more cost effective marketing investment then exhibiting at an event like this – upwards of 10,000 customers, over three days, face-to-face.
