Locally owned Bundaberg business, Kelly Campers is looking forward to bringing their Australian Made, full off-road hybrid camper trailers to the South Queensland Caravan, Camping, Boating and Fishing Expo.
Owners David and Diana Willoughby started the business after they were searching for a camper trailer for themselves. But when they couldn’t find one that met the criteria of Australian Made, easy to set up, tough and adaptable, David decided to build his very own.
After a few camping trips, it was obvious from comments of other campers like “where do I get one?” that they saw a definite gap in the market, and Kelly Campers was born.
After just 18 months on the market and plenty of sales later, Kelly Campers was invited to participate in the 2017 Camper Trailer of the Year Awards and made the finals in the Hybrid category. After being judged on innovation, self-sufficiency, quality of finish, build quality, comfort and ease of use, Kelly Campers can proudly say their campers received Runners Up, in their very first competition.
