EXPO ATTRACTS MASSIVE CROWDS EARLY
Roads leading into the Maryborough Showgrounds were busy early this morning and hundreds of people lined up early at the entry gates for the grand opening of the 2015 Wide Bay and Fraser Coast Home Show plus the massive Caravan Camping and Boating Expo.
Organisers are bracing for the biggest event ever with fine sunny days predicted for the next three days. Motels and hotels are heavily booked with visitors and exhibitors travelling from all over Queensland to be a part of the event. Some of Australia’s finest caravan, camper trailer, boat and 4×4 manufacturers will be on site with over ten millions dollars worth of stock on show and for sale.
“The weather is absolutely perfect once again for what will be a massive event at the Maryborough Showgrounds. Over 200 Exhibitors are set up on site and excited and ready for big crowds. With over fifteen thousand dollars in prizes to win including a brand new boat, a North Queensland Holiday and fishing gear plus free rides for kids and a special ‘event train’ on site to help visitors get around the massive display grid we are going to be busy. We encourage people to allow plenty of time, at least four hours or so to get around and see everything. If you are coming in from out of town plan to stay overnight. This is a rare event and you need to take your time and enjoy it.”
