The Queensland Branch of the Australian Deer Association have confirmed that they will present an annual Hunting Expo as an integral part of a major Outdoor Adventure Event in Toowoomba.

Local business leader, Ian Hurley who is the Queensland State Secretary of the Australian Deer Association (ADA) said that he was very pleased to be partnering with Australian Events to present the new event in August this year at the Toowoomba Showgrounds.

Mr Hurley said that the ADA is involved in game management committees and stakeholder groups to ensure the best outcome for hunters but more importantly to provide training and education advice to ensure ethical hunting practices are adopted and maintained.

“This is a very large industry and the event will attract strong interest from across Queensland and interstate. We will have a great showcase of new products, services and technologies as well as assisting people in obtaining permits and gaining access to the latest industry trends”. Director of Australian Events, Bob Carroll said that the annual Queensland Outdoor Adventure and Motoring Expo will play host to the Hunting Expo this year.

“This event has grown again in 2016 with the site plan expanding into the Centre Ring at the Toowoomba Showgrounds with a growth of some 20% in exhibitor numbers. The Hunting Expo will be a great compliment to that growth and it will be housed in a giant Hoecker Pavillion in the Centre Ring. There will be a range of outdoor displays and demonstrations as a part of that program and this will be connected to the Glenvale Room where there will be a licence issuing area and lectures and presentations”. The Queensland Outdoor Adventure and Motoring Expo featuring the ADA Hunting Expo will take place at the Toowoomba Showgrounds from the 5th to the 7th August.
