Local Queensland company Australian Events will host the annual Sunshine Coast Home Show and Caravan, Camping and Boating Expo at the Kawana Sports Precinct from 17 to 19 October which, according to the company’s Director Corporate Development, Greg Johnson, is set to break all records.
“Three weeks out and the event is sold out with over 180 companies confirmed to attend trending with similar events held in other key regional areas throughout Queensland. There does appear to be a significant resurgence in the market place”, said Mr Johnson
The vast range of products and services on display includes caravans, campers, vehicles, boats, fishing, home and lifestyle products, outdoor furniture, kitchens, pools & spas, energy saving options and health services. As well there will be heaps of free entertainment including kids rides, trials bike stunt shows and cooking and casting demonstrations.
“The company loves bringing this event to the Sunshine Coast. This is an iconic part of Queensland and people here are adventure seekers and devotees of the great outdoors. We are expecting a large crowd to complement the large turnout by exhibitors.”
Mr Johnson urged locals to get behind the event saying “this is a real opportunity for local traders to promote the “Shop Local/Buy Local” message by demonstrating to consumers that the best buys in the land are right here on their doorsteps.”
The event will boast a major promotional campaign that utilises local radio, television, print, street signs and banners. Australian Events will also mount and sustain a comprehensive social media campaign to ensure the expo developments are readily communicated to exhibitors and patrons alike.
