It’s a very positive sign for an event when loyal exhibitors expand their displays, and this is the exact scenario taking place at the 2017 Queensland Outdoor Adventure and Motoring Expo.

The event, now in its 14th year, has again expanded, this year by an estimated 5000 square metres. Interestingly, the expansion is not so much from an increase in exhibitor numbers but has come from a demand for larger site spaces from previous exhibitors.

According to Australian Events director Bob Carroll, “We are very lucky to work with some of Queensland and Australia’s best recreational vehicle manufacturers and outdoor adventure companies. They have been extremely loyal to this event, consistently re-booking site space and expanding their displays. It’s a win, win for both patrons and exhibitors alike, larger displays mean the event is working for those exhibitors, while patrons benefit from the increased variety and quality at the show”.

The event, which has almost reached exhibitor capacity, is one of the largest and best attended regional events of its kind in Australia, attracting around 16,000 shoppers from Southern Queensland and Northern N.S.W.

Event manager Aly Ryan described the event as “One of Australian Events strongest. It’s always a pleasure to work on, our exhibitors love coming to Toowoomba in August, the weather is perfect and the crowds come out in force”.

The 2017 event will feature dozens of caravan, motorhome and camper trailer retailers, tourism and holiday destinations, motorbikes, recreational vehicles and dozens of motoring and camping accessory companies.
