Dozens of people queued at the entry gates early this morning for the grand opening of the 2016 Moreton Bay Caravan Camping, Boating and 4×4 Expo. Many said they had been looking forward to the Expo because it is such big event for the area and they wanted to take advantage of opening day specials.
Organisers are bracing for huge support from the public with motels and hotels are heavily booked with visitors and exhibitors travelling from all over Brisbane and surrounding areas to be a part of the event. Australia’s finest caravan, camper trailer, boating and 4×4 manufacturers will be on site with millions of dollars’ worth of stock on show and for sale.
Event organiser, Bob Carroll from Australian Events said that there has been an amazing response on the social media pages attached to the Australian Events web site and facebook page. The interest in this Expo has been unprecedented, and is expected to attract big crowds.
“There’s $20,000 worth of prizes to be won at the Expo, including a $10,990 Boating package complete with trailer, safety gear and 12 months registration thanks to Cunningham Marine Centre.”
“We have increased activities on site to include a reptile show, free kids rides, a 4×4 skills track and the giant fishing tank in a brand new fishing and boating precinct featuring popular TV personality Scott Hillier from Creek to Coast.”
