Organisers of the 6-8 March 2015 Gold Coast Outdoor Adventure and Motoring Expo travelled to the Gold Coast yesterday, from their Toowoomba headquarters, to inspect construction of the Gold Coast Turf Club’s new Exhibition Centre.

The delegation was headed by Australian Events’ Managing Director Bob Carroll and also included his Operations Manager Saul Ryan and Creative Director Darren Wright.

Mr Carroll described the new venue as “amazing.”

He said: “Our exhibitors and patrons have been asking us to take charge of a new, major event on the Gold Coast and to schedule it for March each year.

“We listened, we acted, we took charge and we have made a massive commitment to ensure we deliver what they wanted.  We are working closely with the State Government and the Gold Coast Turf Club to deliver this and other new events.

“Because of these exciting infrastructure developments at the turf club we have now gone back and remapped the whole venue and we have released a brand new plan.

“This new event will showcase the very best that is available in the market today for camper trailers, caravans, motor homes, 4WD and every conceivable extra and accessory available in the market. New products and new models will be highlighted.

“We are thrilled with the new building, the extensive flood-free grassed areas, and the updated hard stand areas. In my very long career organising expos and shows across Queensland and New South Wales I am confident in saying that this venue will be one of the best available.

“Congratulations to the Gold Coast Turf Club and the State Government.”
