The Queensland Bream Tournamet partnered with the annual Cleveland Caravan, Camping, Boating & 4×4 Expo in 2016 with the competition teams launching each day from the nearby Raby Bay Marina. It was so successful that it has grown and is back again this year! “The Queensland Open is a unique event. A three day event on the biggest tournament arena on the ABT BREAM calendar and the opportunity to weigh in in front of a show crowd are what help make this event a must do tournament” explained ABT’s Tournament Director Simon Goldsmith.
The event will run in conjunction with the Cleveland Caravan, Camping, Boating & 4×4 Expo and will start each morning at Cleveland Boat Harbour and at the end of the day angler will then trailer their boat to the nearby Cleveland Showgrounds to weigh-in at the Expo.
Long time QLD BREAM competitor, and one half of the team that currently holds The Open title, Aaron Sharp, is excited about this year’s event.
“Last year’s event showed us the benefits of doing the start and finish at Cleveland. It means you’re right on the fish from the beginning and we don’t have to trailer our fish a long way. The Cleveland Expo has all of the elements needed for an amazing day out, with the best camping, touring, and 4×4 gear right there. Having the weigh-in as part of the expo only increases the excitement of the participating anglers and the public, and we can’t wait to get to the show and see if we can make it back-to-back wins this year”, explained Sharp.
The Cleveland Caravan, Camping, Boating & 4×4 Expo runs from September 22nd – 24th, with the QLD BREAM Open featuring at the Expo with each competition.

Prizes: 70% paypack, paid on a 1:5 ratio
