The 2018 Queensland Outdoor Adventure and Motoring Expo took place from the 3rd – 5th of August at the Toowoomba Showgrounds. There were over 16,000 visitors to the Expo this year coming to see everything from caravans, camper trailers, and camping accessories through to 4×4 accessories, holidays and tourism!
The major prize for the event was the $52,000 Billabong Caravan thanks to Coastal Caravans. Visitors to the Gold Coast Expo had the opportunity to place early entries into the draw, with the prize drawn after the Queensland Outdoor Adventure and Motoring Expo. Sheryl from Newtown was the lucky winner drawn from the many thousands of entries received, congratulations Sheryl!
Kelvin from Murphy’s Creek was the lucky winner of the Rivershore Resort’s prize, which included a 5-night stay at the resort on the banks of the Maroochy River valued at $2,000.
Over the weekend Dave Moss (Mossy) gave away $10,000 worth of prizes during the daily Shimano fishing demonstrations. He had one major prize, a Swell Boat, which was drawn on Sunday. Juliet was the lucky recipient! He also gave away Mako Eyewear and tackle packages to six visitors to the event. Judy, Leanne, Willem, Clifford, Sue and Trent were the lucky winners.
