Wow – what a weekend! If you had the chance to visit the Redcliffe Showgrounds from the 15th – 17th February, you would have got to see one of the most successful outdoor adventure expo’s in action.
The Moreton Bay Expo was held from Friday 15th February through to Sunday 17th February, saturating the Showgrounds with a massive array everything outdoors – boats, caravans, camper trailers, jet skis, vehicles and 4×4 accessories, ute trays and canopies, adventure gear, kayaks, sheds, holidays, you name it – it was there! Over 20,000 visitors, 170 Exhibitors operating for business with outstanding displays, and only those who were there could understand how massive it really was!
Although Friday and Saturday were a little windy for ALL4FMX to bring out ‘The Bag’ stunt, Sunday brought the perfect weather and the entire audience were on the edge of their seats as they launched their quads and bikes upside down into the sky, landing in ‘The Bag’. We hope you all got the chance to see their speedy and adrenaline rush action packed stunt show over the weekend because it was definitely a ‘must see’.
The adults got to enjoy the daily camp oven cooking shows with Ron Wilson, ‘Kingbrown’ from Kingbrown Camp Oven Kitchen, demonstrating everything from good ol’ Sausage Rolls to the perfect pork crackling, while the whole family enjoyed the up close and personal snake and reptile show with Luke’s Reptile Kingdom.
Amazing prizes were given away on the weekend. The $10,000 boating package was drawn onsite Sunday afternoon, thanks to Cunningham Marine Centre, and the lucky winner, Alan Carter, will now be enjoying a new outdoor adventure of his own. Thanks to Camplify and Leisure Caravans, Skye Wallace from Brisbane won an awesome week away in a Caravan.
This year, we got our exhibitors involved with sharing the new online ticket option for visitors, contributing to mass crowds flowing through the gates so a huge thank you to all businesses involved.

Although that’s our 2019 Moreton Bay Expo done and dusted for another year, we are busy prepping for the next on the list – South Queensland Caravan, Camping, Fishing & 4×4 Expo, 26th – 28th April 2019, Nambour Showgrounds. Hope to see you there!
