Well folks after months of planning and marketing and a full week in the set-up process the big day has finally arrived.
At 9.00am today the gates will be thrown open on the 2015 Mackay Home Show and Caravan, Camping Expo at the Mackay Showgrounds. Three days of unrivalled exhibitions, non-stop infotainment and entertainment, over $20,000 in unbelievable prizes and free rides for children.
Bob Carroll, Managing Director with organiser Australian Events said, “It doesn’t get any better than this. “From the outset we knew this was going to be a sensational event as we were overrun with Mackay and regional businesses wanting to sign up as exhibitors. When the books closed weeks ago over 160 businesses had booked a site.
“Visitors to the Expo can expect to see an extraordinary array of home improvement options, household items, caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, camping equipment, motor vehicles, fishing gear and a dozen other exhibitors with a wide variety of allied products and services including health, finance, banking and lifestyle.
“What is very special about this Expo is the number of new products on offer, the imagination of designers and engineers never ceases to amaze. Patrons are certainly in for a treat,” Mr Carroll concluded.
There’s over $20,000 worth of prizes to be won at the Expo including a $3,000 Gold Coast holiday, $9,000 camper trailer package thanks to local company Market Direct Campers, $7,000 in fishing packs and a $900 BBQ from Barbecues Galore Mackay.
Gates open at 9.00am on each of the three days and close at 5.00pm except for Sunday when close is 4.00pm
