Never before in the Australian Events’ long history has an events’ website faulted, but the Farm Fantastic Expo site www.farmfantastic.com.au did yesterday. As the new event organisers’ staff move onto the Caboolture Showgrounds to roll out the welcome mat to its inaugural Farm Fantastic Expo on Friday – the system at head office could not handle the massive volume of visitors to the website. Extra resources were recruited and, you need not panic, the site is back up and running.
Managing director Bob Carroll says the gates are set to open on an even bigger Farm Fantastic – already regarded as one of Queensland’s largest outdoor rural, retail, home and lifestyle expos, and the 2016 event is no exception!
The new owners have discounted the entry fees and have a bonus offer of a return pass so you can return to the event as often as you like.
And there are free shuttle buses from the Morayfield Shopping Centre, Caboolture Rail and Caboolture Hub to the Caboolture Showgrounds.
This event will feature hundreds of displays from local and national companies – everything from farm machinery, motorcycles, caravans and vehicles including golf buggies. There’s lots of different fencing options, sheds, tools and mowers on display, plus products and services to make life a little easier and safer.
Tempt your taste buds at Destination Food featuring a smorgasbord of delights including cooking demonstrations and alpacas not only in the show ring, but cooked on a skewer.
It’s open Friday and Saturday 9am – 5pm and Sunday 9am – 4pm.
Costs are $10 for adults, $8 for Aged Seniors Card holders and children with an adult are free.
