Well folks after months of planning and marketing and a full week in the set up process the big day has finally arrived.
At 9.00am today the gates will be thrown open on the 2015 Cairns Home Show and Caravan, Camping and Boating Expo at the Cairns Showgrounds. Three days of unrivaled exhibitions, non-stop infotainment and entertainment, over $17,000 in unbelievable prizes and free rides for children.
Greg Johnson, Director Corporate Development with organiser Australian Events said, “It doesn’t get any better than this.
“From the outset we knew this was going to be a sensational event as we were overrun with Cairns and regional businesses wanting to sign up as exhibitors. When the books closed weeks ago over 160 businesses had booked a site.
“Visitors to the Expo can expect to see an extraordinary array of home improvement options, household items, caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, camping equipment, motor vehicles, boats, kayaks and a dozen other exhibitors with a wide variety of allied products and services including health, finance, banking and lifestyle.
“What is very special about this Expo is the number of new products on offer, the imagination of designers and engineers never ceases to amaze. Patrons are certainly in for a treat,” Mr Johnson concluded.
There’s over seventeen thousand dollars’ worth of prizes to be won at the Expo including a Gold Coast holiday, and a $7,000 boating package thanks to local company Aussie Marine. Entry coupons for the boat prize are in the Cairns Post every day as well as being in the special Event Guide available at the show.
Gates open at 9.00am on each of the three days and close at 5.00pm except for Sunday when close is 4.00pm
