Queensland company Australian Events today launched its 2015 Cairns Home Show plus Caravan, Camping and Boating Expo.
The big event will be held at the Cairns Showgrounds from 15-17 May and will be home to over 150 exhibitors from North Queensland, throughout the state, interstate and New Zealand.
Exhibition products and services on display will include caravans, camper trailers, camping equipment, boating and fishing, household goods and services, home improvements, solar solutions, health and beauty and banking and finance.
Australian Events’ Director Corporate Development Greg Johnson said “We love bringing this event to Cairns.
“When the people across Australia and throughout the world imagine paradise they imagine Cairns and we’re no different.
“There’s a special feeling about the place and this year 14,000 attendees told us that they liked the event and the exhibition. Why wouldn’t we come back?”
As well as the large exhibition area the event will offer free entertainment throughout, major competitions and prizes, free rides for children and, for the first time, a series of on-stage practical demonstrations by select exhibitors.
Mr Johnson urged local retailers to consider signing up as exhibitors at affordable rates.
“We make no apologies for promoting our ‘Shop Local. Buy Local’ message wherever we go. For regional communities to be sustainable they need the overwhelming support of the local population. We’re hoping that Cairns’ businesses have a strong presence at the show,” he concluded.
